Ministries

Our mission in ministry is simple: to alleviate unnecessary suffering of the world. We focus on service to the world around us, offering what we can through the missions of the church. To learn more about what we do and the communities and groups we help, contact our team: [email protected]

Feed the Body

The Abundant Harvest Food Pantry provides food three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We also make offsite deliveries to Pineview (a low income senior apartment) and Mission Woods (a low income apartment), Dogwood Elementary School in New Caney and an African American church in Willis.

Nourish the Soul

St. Isidore’s has a number of ways to participate in church services including the Altar Guild, Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM) training, flower ministry, church committees, assisting in garden work, special projects, and volunteering at the Abundant Harvest food pantry.

Transform the Community

St. Isidore strives to impact our community through programs as the annual Pride Festival, free Immigration Legal Clinic (the last Thursday), ESL classes, our flower ministry which delivers flowers to seniors in assisted living, offering meeting space to groups such as AA and GA, and community awareness sessions.
